Doug Tunnell
Brick House Wine Company
From his first planting in May of 1990 until today, former CBS newsman Doug Tunnell has relied on the basics. All his fruit is estate grown and certified organic, one of the few in Oregon. All Brick House wines are produced and bottled by hand, and they're begun with indigenous (or wild) yeast fermentations.
In addition to three clones of Pinot Noir, Doug has planted his vineyard near the Chehalem Mountains with Dijon Chardonnay and Gamay Noir, the great grape of Beaujolais in France.
